Pacing Myself

Pacing has never been my strong point.  I tend to go at things full bore and wear myself out.  So it's no wonder I was having stress dreams going through papers symbolic of difficult times at breakneck speed. I wasn't leaving time to process and then lay to rest what was coming up for me.

So this weekend, no tidying.  Last night I enjoyed a dinner with friends. Today I rest after teaching Sunday school at church (Kindergartners and First Graders, who bring me joy). The papers will still be there and I will get back to them.  This is a marathon, not a sprint. Slow and steady will win this race.
